Stockholmrockaction is an archive of fine art music photography.
We feature the work of swedish photographer Johan Ödmann. Being involved in the swedish garage rock scene in the middle of the 1980's, he has been building up an unique collection of b/w music photography. It contains more than 28.000 negatives focusing on the music scene 1980- 1987 and covers Swedish Garage Rock, Pop, Paisley Underground, Heavy Metal and Classic Rock.
For the last six years, Johan Ödmann has been shooting fashion for international magazines such as Self Service, Big Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Spoon, Jalouse, Exit and Bon.

All prints are handprinted by archival standards one at a time on fibre-based silver gelatin paper and selenium toned. The prints are corner-mounted on acid free 4-ply archival board and over-matted.
The prints are titled, dated, numbered and signed in pencil by Johan Ödmann.
Introduced in the 1870´s. The standard contemporary black and white print method used today.
Also referred to as a silver gelatin print, or simply as a silver print. The gelatin emulsion in the photographic paper contains light-sensitive silver salts that react to light.
